Quercetin is a polyphenol; secondary plant substance that is commonly found in plants. The yellow colour is used as a natural dye. It is found in onions, apples and broccoli. Red grapes naturally have the most quercetin in their skin. The name Quercetin is derived from the Latin word quercus , meaning oak .
