Description
Folic acid belongs to the B vitamins and is mainly found in whole grain products and green leafy vegetables. The water-soluble vitamin is very sensitive to heat, which means it can easily be destroyed during cooking. Intensive sun exposure (e.g. solarium) can also reduce the amount of folic acid in the body.
One capsule of the food supplement contains 800 mcg folic acid.
Recommended intake:
