Description

Not much experience baking? No problem! This easy to use mix pampers the palate and makes for a delicious spelt bread. The enclosed spice mixture contains delicious herbs that round out the flavours of the bread. It stays fresh for a long time and is perfect for any meal you want to add special character to.

Tips:

  • Wet the baking paper with water before baking for a crunchier crust!
  • Sprinkle oats or sesame seeds on top of the bread to add more texture.
  • When the bottom of the bread has turned brown, it's ready!

Instructions:

  1. Pour the mix into a bowl and add 470 ml water. Knead it well by hand or with a mixer.
  2. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Knead the dough again, shape it and let it rest for another 20 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Preheat the oven (electric) or the grill to 230 ° C.
  5. Cover the baking paper and the loaf of bread with water to make sure it has a nice crunchy crust.
  6. Score the bread several times with a knife.
  7. Bake at 230 ° C for 10 minutes, then lower the heat to 190 ° C and bake again for about 15 minutes. Then let it cool down.
