First-Class Thyroid Products

The thyroid is a small, almost inconspicuous organ of enormous importance. It secretes several important hormones daily, including the two most important T3 (triiodothyronine) and T4 (thyroxine) hormones. The difference between the two iodine-containing hormones is noticeable in that one hormone has three bound iodine atoms (T3) and the other (T4) has four bound iodine atoms. The essential hormone thyroxine is considered the so-called main hormone. It can only be produced in mammalian thyroid glands and is a non-proteinogenic α-amino acid.
