COESAM's Organic Maqui Berry Powder is produced from freeze-dried Maqui berries (Aristotelia chilensis).
MAQUI is the Mapuche name for the Chilean tree Aristotelia chilensis. The trees Coesam uses grow in Patagonia, in southern Chile.
- MAQUI berries contain a high concentration of anthocyanins and polyphenols.
- Maqui berries have one of the highest antioxidant values of all fruits and also provide the most extensive antioxidant protection, as determined by the ORAC total value.
- COESAM organic maqui berries are freeze-dried under controlled conditions and are gently ground. All nutrients are retained during freeze drying.
- All the nutrients are 100% natural.
