Description
The SAMESYL® S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) by Nutrimental contains SAMe, a complex of choline, vitamins, minerals, and the amino acid L-methionine.
SAM in the human body
S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) arises when the metabolism produces the amino acid methionine. The body requires it for various important cell functions, such as the formation of serotonin. Serotonin is responsible for the blood pressure. The biochemical processes in which SAM is involved benefits the brain, liver, the muscles and the joints. Everyone has SAM in their body, but due to an unbalanced diet, frequent alcohol consumption, increasing age and other reasons, deficiencies arise.
Other effects of the ingredients:
- Choline makes an important contribution to normal fat metabolism and maintains normal liver function
- Vitamin A has a function in cell specialization
- Vitamin D has a role in cell division, contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function, and a normal function of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress.
- Vitamin B6 contributes to a normal cysteine synthesis, to a normal homocysteine metabolism, and regulates hormone activity. It is also involved in normal production of red blood cells and normal mental function.
- Vitamin B5 contributes to normal synthesis, and to a normal metabolism of steroid hormones.
- Molybdenum supports a normal metabolism of sulfuric amino acids
- Zinc contributes to a normal acid-base metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, fatty acid metabolism and the metabolism of macronutrients. It also makes a major contribution to normal DNA synthesis
Recommended dosage:
Take 1 capsule at breakfast and lunch with sufficient liquid.
