Fit4Day Spaghetti-style Shiritake
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
Much better than the already cooked konjak spaghetti (Such as Slim Pasta);that comes vacuum packed in a protective strongly fish smelling liquid that requires masses of rinsing to remove the horrible smell before adding to pan or microwave to heat.
This dried product takes 8 minutes to cook in boiling water and has no nasty smell. The amount of rinsing of the pre-cooked products plus heating takes the same amount of time.
All these types of products have no flavour of their own so, like Quorn Chunks and Quorn Mince required a good flavoured sauce.
One star removed due to poor packing for safe delivery. Because this is a dry, brittle product, each bag was broken into tiny pieces, resembling tiny noodles rather than strings of spaghetti once cooked. This product should be packed in bubble wrap to prevent it breaking into tiny pieces in the postal system.
