Grita is a traditional Ayurvedic dosage form, where ghee (clarified butter) is enriched with a special herbal substance. For classic Ayurveda gritas, only organically obtained ghee is used.
- Triphala ghee can be used internally and externally.
Triphala consists of three myrobalan fruits (haritaki, amalaki and bibhitaki). A third of each fruit is used. It is a well-known Ayurvedic blend that possesses all different tastes except the "salty" sensation. This means that all three doshas are balanced.
- Triphala has a cooling effect according to Ayurveda. This is important for soothing and calming heated overactivity.
- Triphala is part of the Indian daily balancing diet.
- Long-term consumption is recommended.
