bios cranberry capsules contain 230mg cranberry (lingonberry) concentrate and 200mg horseradish root (kren) extract per capsule. The raw materials are filled into hard gelatine capsules for this BSE / TSE-tested pharmaceutical gelatine.

The lingonberry (cranberry):

• The cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), like the blueberry, belongs to the heather family (Ericacaeae).
• It grows as a shrub that creeps on the ground and bears delicate pinkish-white flowers with lateral inflorescences.
• The berries are red, the leaves narrowly ovate, tapering to a point. The ripe fruits taste sour-tart raw.
• Cranberry fruit concentrate powder 25:1 is a concentrate standardised on fruit components. Thanks to a particularly gentle manufacturing process, the raw material retains its natural aroma and typical taste.

The horseradish:

• The horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) belongs to the cruciferous family (Brassicaceae).
• The roots of the horseradish plant are traditionally used as a spice and grow wild on the edge of damp meadows.
• In the unprocessed state, horseradish is odourless. If the root is cut or rubbed, a pungent odour escapes, for which allyl thiocyanate is responsible.
• The horseradish extract used comes from the plant Armoracia rusticana and meets the highest quality standards. It is a natural extract standardised for essential oil.

Consumption recommendation:
Take 1 capsule 3 times a day with sufficient liquid.
