Description

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are short-chain polymers of D-Fructose and D-glucose. They are dissolvable fibres and are indigestible for the human body. They occur naturally in bananas, garlic, artichokes and chicory.

In addition, they are natural sweeteners. They are about half as sweet as sucrose, and are low-calorie.

Recommended Use:

take 1/2 to 1 level teaspoon (1.25 to 2.5 g) pure or with water together with meals, up to 20 g / day.

Note: FOS can cause strong flatulence particularly in higher doses. If the flatulence doesn't go away in one or two weeks, you should stop taking the product.
