ZIRP Insects Falafel Mix

This mix can be used to make delicious falafel in no time! Chickpea flour and mealworm powder are seasoned with spices and combined in this delicious mix. The mix is perfect to have on hand whenever you need a quick meal.

You'll need:

• Water
• Olive oil
• Rapeseed oil
• A measuring cup

Preparation:

1. Mix 150 ml of boiling water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil with the mix.
2. Let the mixture cool down and then shape into patties or balls using your wet hands.
3. Bake or deep-fry in plenty of oil (like rapeseed oil).
4. Drain the freshly baked falafel on paper towels and serve.

Tip:

• The falafel goes well with hummus, olives, fresh flatbread or a crunchy salad.

• If you are allergic to house dust mites, crustaceans, molluscs or shellfish, do not eat these insects.
