Description
The Chaga or Birch Mushroom grows on the trunks of birch trees that are up to 70 years old. The mushroom begins to grow as soon as the host, the birch tree, has died.
- The whole mushroom is used to make the Chaga powder by Terra Elements.
Processing:
- The mushroom is dried at low temperatures and then ground. The result is a raw food product that is packed with all the nutrients from the mushroom.
Tip:
- Can be sprinkled over food or stirred into smoothies or other liquids.
- It is also very popular to drink as a tea.
Tea preparation:
- For one cup, add 1 teaspoon of the powder to 250 ml water and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Strain and serve the tea.
Recommended dosage:
Daily stir 2 x 5 measuring spoons (= 3g) of powder into a liquid or sprinkle over food and consume.
