Description
Taurine is a sulphurous amino acid derivative that is ion and pH buffer for heart, skeletal muscles and central nervous system by importance.
The highest Taurinkonzentrationen in skeletal muscle, heart, brain, eyes, and certain immune cells (the neutrophils), as well as breast milk can be found in the human body.
In the liver, taurine is required for the formation of bile acids, which is involved in fat digestion and-resorption as well as the excretion of cholesterol, drugs and heavy metals.
Taurine has antioxidant and detoxifying properties and is therefore of particular importance for immune system and liver.
In addition, taurine in able to neutralize radicals of hypochlorite is. These occur when excessive immune reactions and may by strengthening or chronicity of inflammatory processes lead to tissue damage.
Taurine plays a role the development and protection of the retina in the eye.
Application recommendation: 1 or 2 capsules twice daily between meals, up to 5,000 mg / day.
