Description
Although they look like cherries, Aceroal berries are not related to cherries. They grow on evergreen shrubs in Central and South America and are known for their high vitamin C content. After harvesting, the berries are carefully cleaned, processed into a fruit pulp and then gently freeze-dried. The result is a fine powder that is rich in valuable ingredients. Acerola powder has a fruity, tangy taste and is perfect for stirring into muesli, yoghurt and smoothies.
