Description
Dong Quai by Herbal Actives provides a standardized root extract with 2.25 mg Ligustilides from the Chinese angelica.
- Dong Quai or Chinese Angelica grows in China, Korea and Japan. The root is used for pharmacological purposes. It contains essential oils with ligustilides, cadinen and several phthalides, coumarins, furanocumarins, polysaccharides and vitamins A and E, B12 and biotin.
- Angelica belongs to the Umbelliferae family.
