Hawlik is the first company in Europe authorised to carry the AGROLAB laboratory group’s quality seal on its vital mushroom products. This seal is conferred following stringent guidelines and is reserved for regularly tested products only. The AGROLAB group is independent, accredited, and certified. It inspects all of Hawlik’s vital mushroom products in line with stringent German food regulations. Every single batch is checked. AGROLAB tests for more than 500 pesticides, heavy metals and microbiological contaminants. All mushroom powders also undergo a DNA identity test to ensure that only the specified mushroom species has been processed.

The quality seal provides customers with proof of the high quality and purity of Hawlik’s vital mushroom products. Each year, around €500,000 is invested in quality assurance, research, and development. Despite this, the company offers its premium vital mushroom products at fair prices. As a result, Hawlik is pleased to see a steadily growing number of satisfied customers, including doctors, alternative practitioners, and pharmacies. The number of private customers has also continued to rise, with deliveries to around 100,000 end consumers so far.

In Germany, the raw products undergo an additional rigorous quality check by a state-approved laboratory, confirming once again that the products are fully compliant with German food regulations. This control is carried out by LUFA-ITL, an independent, accredited German laboratory and part of the AGROLAB group. The raw vital mushroom materials are then encapsulated or pressed into tablets in a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility in Germany.
