Vitamin D is produced in the body by the skin when exposed to sunlight or it is obtained from food. It is particularly difficult to meet the body's daily vitamin D requirement during the winter months because of a lack of sufficient exposure to natural sunlight.

This vitamin D supplement in the form of drops has been specially developed for children and provides them with valuable vitamin D3 and vitamin K2. They are easy to take and vegan.
Recommended dose:
Vitamin D supplementation is recommended in the following dosages. These amounts are a rough guide only. The child's body weight should also be taken into account.
1 drop contains 400 I.U. vitamin D3.
- Infants 0-12 months: 400 - 1000 I.U./day (maximum limit 2000 I.U.)
- Children 1-8 years: 400 - 1000 I.U./day (maximum limit 2000 I.U.)
- Children/Adolescents 9-18 years: 600 - 2000 I.U./day (maximum limit 4000 I.U.)
