Description
Organic Trikatu Churna contains a blend of black and long pepper (Piper nigrum and Piper longum) as well as ginger (Zingiber officinale). These are finely ground and blended at temperatures below 40°C according to traditional methods.
Trikatu - one of the most significant spice blends in Ayurveda. It contains the following:
- Pippali (long pepper)
- Maricha (black pepper)
- Sunthi (ginger)
These are mixed in equal parts. All 3 herbs carry the flavour rasa (spicy).
Application: Use to season oily or heavy foods like meat, cheese, potato and cream.
The product is vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free and has raw food quality.
