Enjoy mildly roasted cocoa beans coated in beautiful dark chocolate for a truly Caribbean flavour! The tart, nutty notes of the cocoa beans combine harmoniously with the bitterness of the dark chocolate.
Only two basic ingredients are used for these treats from the Dominican Republic - cocoa beans and cane sugar.
The Finca de Santana farm where the beans are grown can be found in the shady forests of the María Trinidad Sánchez province. Here, the cocoa beans are offered the perfect environment to grow- in fact, the fourth generation of Trinitario cocoa is already being produced on this farm. CauCawa buys its cocoa directly from the Santana family.

- Fairness: The Santana family imports the cocoa itself to Europe and, together with a small company in Germany, produces the chocolate. This leaves the family with a fair price for their beans and cocoa.
