Description
A classic for punch and mulled wine during the magical Christmas season! Cinnamon is the dried inner bark of the cinnamon tree and a wonderful spice, which brings even greater joy over the Festive Season. In Eastern, African and Indian cuisine it is added to dishes that contain meat and fish, however, it is used in small quantities.
Tips & Preparation:
The earthy, woodsy, sweet taste of cinnamon suits rice pudding, fruit compotes and cakes. The spice harmonizes very well with all kinds of dried fruits. It is highly recommended for sweet couscous dishes with dried fruit, apples, cinnamon and lemon juice. A pinch of this brown powder adds flavour to chocolate beverages and coffee.
