Description
Cinnamon is a favourite for desserts! The earthy and woody flavour goes well with rice pudding, fruit compotes and cakes. Cassia cinnamon unfolds a powerful aroma both in fragrance and flavour. It is wonderfully sweet and slightly warming.
Tips & Preparation:
The earthy, woodsy, sweet taste of cinnamon fits well with rice pudding, fruit compotes and cakes. It harmonizes very well with all kinds of dried fruits. It is highly recommended to add to sweet couscous dishes with dried fruit, apples, cinnamon and lemon juice. Flavour chocolate drinks and coffee using cinnamon. On other continents, cinnamon is used to season savoury dishes such as delicious Arab lamb stew or also contained in the Ethiopian Berbere spice blend.
