Description
GLA Borage Oil delivers high quality gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and linoleic acid of Borage Oil. Borage is the plant with the highest content of gamma-linolenic acid (23%) ahead of evening primrose and black currant. The Omega-6 fatty acids are linoleic acid as well as GLA .
GLA is a precursor of different prostaglandins and takes part of modulate inflammatory processes. It has been shown that GLA may contribute to normal cholesterol levels, healthy blood circulation and a healthy skin and joint. It is used during perimenopause and PMS due to their balancing influence on the hormone balance.
Other applications for GLA Borage Oil are atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, arthritis and dermatitis.
Recommended use: 1 softgel once or twice daily with meals.
The recommended daily dosage should not be exceeded.
