Description
Psyllium husk powder is a great source of fibre, is gluten and sugar-free, and has no added chemicals, dyes, or genetically modified organisms.
Consumption Recommendation:
Mix 1 - 2 teaspoons (2.5 - 5g) of powder in a cup (at least 250 ml) of water, juice or add to yoghurt, porridge, soups or muesli.
You can wait a few minutes for it to swell.
It is great for thickening creams in fresh desserts.
Hints:
- Make sure you drink enough fluids after ingestion.
- The maximum daily dose is 5 teaspoons (12.5g).
- Indian plantain should be taken at least 1 hour apart from medication or food supplements.
