- The real star anise (Illicium verum) comes in organic quality and is the fruit of the evergreen magnolia tree of Southeast Asia. The anise is ground and filled into popular capsules.
- The ground star anise can also be used for children. Sprinkle the powder onto cream on the soles of the feet, cover with socks and leave overnight.

Very good quality organic star anise, and no additives and fillers. too bad it's overpriced and the capsule is not gelatin, which I'd prefer.
