IndoleGard

IndoleGard contains BioResponse DIM, an indole, which belongs to a group of phytochemicals with special health-giving properties. Indole occurs predominantly in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, flowers or sprouts.

Generally, IndoleGard promotes a balanced and healthy estrogen metabolism by it support of the conversion of estrogen in protective 2-hydroxy estrone instead of genotoxic 16 hydroxy estrone. Furthermore it stimulates IndoleGard enzyme systems which are responsible for detoxification.

IndoleGard represents a stable, well bio-available form of DIM, made possible by a specially designed delivery system. DIM is dissolved along with phosphatidycholin and microencapsulated in starch particles.

There is a close connection between a healthy estrogen metabolism and the relevant reproductive organs such as breast, uterus, prostate, etc. However, many factors such as predisposition, severe overweight and an unbalanced diet can make the estrogen metabolism out of balance.

Notes: Unsuitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as while taking oral contraceptives.
Occasionally a harmless discoloration of urine occurs, which counteracts an increased fluid intake.
